The Bardo Museum
The Bardo Museum in Tunis is a former Ottoman palace that houses one of the finest collections of Roman and Carthaginian mosaics in the world. Most of our programmes visit it on the second or third day, and on the ten and eleven day journeys it opens the third morning before the drive north west.

Visiting the Bardo Museum
The museum is in a former Ottoman palace, and our sheets describe its collection of Roman and Carthaginian mosaics as one of the finest in the world. Most programmes come here after Carthage. On the ten and eleven day journeys the Bardo is the first visit of the third day: breakfast, the museum, then the road north west towards Ain Draham and Tabarka.
